This page is designed to promote and put forth our local talent.
We have a lot of local talent and not really any way for them to connect with the general public. By placing the information here on my website I hope to help both connect with eachother. If you know of a band that should be here please email me at rosannaj@ncoeventsmagazine.com |

Razor Bliss
http://www.myspace.com/razorblissband
There is something very wrong with the world in which Razorbliss lives. The bad news, of course, is that it also happens to be the world that we all share with them. The good news is that they have taken their observations about the perverse ways of 21st century living and turned them into an album of melodic bombast and (appropriately enough) razor-sharp wit.
The booming, steady beats of drummer Matt Mees provide a stage for the slinky, menacing bass lines of Tommy “T-Bone” Caradonna to dance upon. The blazing double attack of guitarists Drake Tulloh and Mark Nye set to work chewing every piece of scenery on that stage. And above it all, vocalist Randy Razor serves as equal parts narrator, snake charmer, and tormented protagonist as he switches back and forth between singing styles. |

Street Foxx
http://www.facebook.com/pages/
Streetfoxx/110525395632115
Since their debut in 1976, the musical experience that is Street Foxx has been packing them in to rock the house. Jimi Hammonds, on vocals guitar and flute, leads his band down a unique path of classic rock history, performing songs in perfect detail that some musicians will not even attempt to imitate. Rick Gardner on bass keeps the boys on track with his precise bass lines while Zack "Animal" Reeder is a sight to behold at the helm of his mighty drum set. Street Foxx’s reoccurring member back for a 3rd tour, Tom Weinclaw, gets everyone out of their seat with his blinding piano and harmonica playing. Holding up the lead guitar end is James "Herbie" McCain who is a real asset to the ensemble with his killer licks. Versatility is the secret behind Street Foxx’s success. The guys bring to life the rock and roll favorites from the 70s through the present – highlighting their individual talents with a some original tunes plus a healthy sprinkling of Jethro Tull, Bad Co., Blackfoot, Boston, Kansas to name a few. After 30 years on the rock and roll stage, the men of Street Foxx are quick to point out that their fans are their most important asset, as well as their greatest pleasure. And the fans – most of whom are now considered friends – include Street Foxx among their happiest memories. |

TV Movie

Mansfield, OH - While crossing live rock shows and DJ sets, often times with the music synced to movies, TV Movie’s performances are energetic sonically and visually. Best described as indie post-punk electro-rock, the trio combines original electronic drum beats spun on turntables with poppy/melodic synthesizer riffs, rockin' guitar rhythms, groovin' bass lines, and Ian Curtis/Jarvis Cocker style vocals over top. Imagine Joy Division meets Paul Oakenfold! |
